Alan Cumming.

Alan was probably the top reason I wanted to book this cruise. The Tony Award winner is an incredible performer and I just happened to be working as a talent escort (not at all like what it sounds like LOL) and seat filler at the 1998 Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall when he won Best Actor in a Musical for Cabaret. I’ll never forget the leather suit he was wearing that night!

Anywhoo – Alan performed on the pool deck in the evening – and boy was it windy! We never got on the “ground floor” to watch performances but we found a good spot on the upper deck near the Bali Hai Bar & Grille to hang out, have a drink and listen to the performances. He was awesome.

We spent alot of time running between venue to see our favorite performer which was a little frustrating but having never done a “themed” cruise it was our first time navigating one. We def learned ALOT about it!
