Day 2 - At Sea
Well, the boat was a rockin’! We had high winds and rain that first day at sea and much of the itinerary for shows/performances had to be switched to indoor venues as the pool area was too wet and windy. A good tip for even the most seasoned cruisers – even if you “never get seasick” bring seasick meds/therapies with you! In our group of 4, our friend Chrissy had a terrible time of it on our first sea day and by the time she felt ill enough to seek out meds, the ship was sold out and the infirmary was not open. She ate some granny smith apples (green apples are supposed to help with upset stomachs) and one of our other friends had some Dramamine but she was not well that first day and I felt awful that she was missing out on all the fun. She’s cruised before and never had a problem … until she did!
We spent the day continuing to explore and find music and venues to hang out in.
