Disembarkation: What a Fab Cruise!
We arrived in NYC early and we were all up and getting the last bit of luggage packed. My friends grabbed food from the buffet while I stewed over the Alan Cumming incident and refused to eat (bad idea). I am tired, hungover and elated that this trip was so incredible and I have spent 5 days with 3 of the best friends a woman could ever ask for. But disembarkation needs to happen and happen smoothly or ima hit someone.
We walked off the ship with our luggage which was more challenging than we thought it would be since I think every passenger on the ship had the same idea! The line was long and winding and it took nearly an hour to disembark.
We finally get off the ship and my au pair picks us up in crazy NYC traffic. My kids were thrilled to see me (and of course to see the souvenirs I brought them)! We got home in about an hour. ALL GOOD. Regardless of the panic attack I was already researching our next cruise.
Going to talk to my doctor about situational anxiety meds. :-)
