MSC Meraviglia Disembarkation

I’d like to say disembarkation was a breeze but alas it was not. Since we put our luggage out the night before we had to wait to be called to depart and by the time we got to the atrium area there were no seats to be found. We found a seat on the floor and the girls and I chilled out for about an hour before we were called. By the time we made our way out of customs with our luggage it was torrentially pouring in Brooklyn! This was not easy to navigate as there is no extended awning or overhang to wait under and we all had to move toward the car lanes or median which was packed with people trying to stay dry. (The NYC port is much better in bad weather.) My nephew eventually found us and off we went to NJ. We were home in an hour which was great.
