NCL Escape - Day 3 Horseshoe Bay Beach
This was my 8th trip to Bermuda and my 5th cruise there. It is just a slice of heaven. We spent Tuesday at Horseshoe Bay Beach which was insanely packed, and we spent time in the water by the cove which is shallow and great for kids (we did the ocean too). Service at the bar/snack stand was slow but we got what we needed and the fact that it wasn't crazy hot made it easier to manage. The private bus, at $7pp each way is a STEAL compared to the excursions. We spent most of the late morning and early afternoon at Horseshoe Bay – we got to see a group setting up for a wedding right in front of the shallow cove where my kids were splashing around. Some folks seemed annoyed that they were being displaced for the wedding set up, but it didn’t bother us at all, it was really neat! We headed back to the ship around 2:30pm to rest and shower and get ready for dinner.
As I said previously, Splash Academy was closed so we did some nighttime exploring of the shops and found a great spot in the Atrium on deck 6 to hang out and listen to some music for a bit before heading to bed.
